Cant thank my mom, boyfriend, Zema enough for making it such a special weekend! As I embark on new stages in my life I can honestly say REEL RAY is sooo happy! Happy with life! Happy with love! and Happy with Everything! I am really excited about the next phases in my life and cant wait to share with my fellow viewers. REEL RAY will always be here because I absolutely love bringing you into my world. I really should have my own reality show! but since that hasn't happened yet I hope you continually enjoy and every so often stop by REEL RAY TV!smooches!

Hello luvs!!

Its been a while but im here, im bak and your live on REEL RAY TV. Ive jus had the most amazing vacation of my life with my boyfriend this past 3 weeks, and I must say it was def a once in a lifetime experience. We had sooooooo much fun. I did my best to document some of it, but honestly it was waay too much to keep up with. Its amazing when you can go somewhere and leave all your worries behind. Everyday I was on vacation I woke up with not a worry on my mind, and being that my phone was not international I went 21 days with no phone. Relaxation is not even the word. We were literally in our own little world LIVING LIFE WITHOUT RESERVATIONS. It makes life even more worth while when you have a mate just as fun and spontaneous as your are! Its crazy what you can miss in a lifetime if you dont experience life. So these videos are for those that dreamed of being/or always wanted to go to Dubai or Thailand. I wanted to bring you snippets into our world and experience part of my first international experience.

Hello All!
I had the pleasure of being the official host/interviewer of " Its Time to Feed Our Brains & Not Our Bodies Tour" hosted by The Miller Family, Itstimekids Organization and the Urban Born Foundation. I spoke with Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Master P, Lil Romeo, Jamaal Brown, and so many more at this event in the fight against child obesity. This event was in support of 1st Lady Michelle Obama's campaign "Lets Move." The event promoted the three E's: Eating Right, Education, and Exercising. It was fun to be apart of such a cause having a chance to speak with the youth and people that work and advocate for youth. Childhood Obesity is a serious problem in our world today that must be addressed. We need to emphasize the importance of health education in schools, provide healthier lunch options, encourage our youth to be active and learn the benefits of living healthy lifestyles. Everyone at this event had really good insight on why they felt the three E's were important and this video is a snippet of the event! Now one thing you didnt kno about me is that I LOOOOOOVE TATTOOS! Tattoos have so many different meanings. My 2nd tattoo is of a lady bug with dots goin up my foot. The lady bug represents me because there such mysterious yet beautiful creatures and the dots represents the journey (the lady bug) im on TO THE TOP!!! Just thought I'd recap on one of the most historical moments in history, that I'm sure we will never forget!
Besides it taking me an hour and a half to get home the day of the Inauguration ceremony.lol, walking miles to get a good spot to watch the parade because most streets were blocked off, besides being squished in the metro like a sardine...I am Soooooooo happy Obama is our official president! So glad that people were very cooperative and peaceful on Inaguration day. CHANGE HAS DEFINETLY COME!!
Take a sneak peek of my footage I got on the day of the Inauguration parade during the election of the 1st Black President! GO OBAMA!! Even though its past January 20th, lets continue to support and pray for our President!

4th Annual Hip Hop Symposium on HIV/AIDS Awareness

Hey yall,

I was apart of the 4th Annual Hip Hop Symposium at Howard University this year, and I enjoyed it! It was very informative, enlightening, and very much necessary. It targeted one of the major concerns that are plaguing many communities today, HIV/AIDS. Here are some important facts:

1. More than 12 million people under 25 years of age have HIV, with over half of all new infections occurring with (15-24) year old age brackets.

2. Women was the focus of this years Hip Hop Symposium because they are suffering the most.

3. According to the CDC, African American & Hispanic women account for 80% of AIDS cases in the US

I spoke with several HIV/AIDS activist so tune into my video and tell me what you think about this epidemic. Your comments are greatly appreciated!!!

Reflection on the 44th President of the United States:

Barack Hussein Obama was elected the 44th president of the United States, sweeping away a major racial barrier in American politics with ease as the country chose him as its first black chief executive. We have come a long way from the racial injustices that once burdened the hearts of many great powerful leaders. It is no coincidence that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is the day before the Presidential Inauguration of the first black president Barack Obama. The Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is now a reality and Obama will go on to carry the legacy of Dr Martin Luther King. Mr. Obama and his Democratic party now face the task of governing a country in ruins and a broken economy. According to the New York Times, "he is a cool deliberator, a fluent communicator, a professor with a hunger for academic expertise!"Will he fix things over night, no but I have faith that he will bring about the change we all seek in this country! The Conference was so empowering!! Every speaker gave really great advice on how to "Jumpstart Your Future." Speakers included Vanessa and Angela Simmons, Dee Marshall, Rhonda Mclean, Amy DuBois Barnett, just to name a few. Here are a few helpful tips from some of the speakers on how you can market yourself for success!

1. Teach people HOW to think about you, and WHAT to think about you!
Teaching people how to think about you and what to think about you is the art of self- promotion. This allows you to control the image of your brand

2. Control the image of you Brand!
This includes Dressing for success (physical appearance and presence) Put best self forward!

3. Diversify your circle!
IMPORTANT!! Establish relationships before you need them and constantly network with
people that can help you. Constantly keep in contact with networks, but no STALKING!!
email every so often; invite them for lunch or breakfast and ask them about their career
paths and how they got to where they are. Never start off by asking for something!

4. Let your passion lead you!
Let your passion lead you so that you have no regrets because at the end of the day it is about
making yourself happy!

5. Research and know about any company you are applying for!
Companies want to know that you have researched them and know the position you are

So yes, im walking around in Chinatown getting footage and I spot a guy with neon orange glasses sitting with a guitar. I found him quite interesting looking..lol and decided to go over and talk to him and actually we had a very good conversation. I was very intrigued by the fact that he wanted to be a street performer. This interview focuses on how despite the rough economy were living in today, people are venturing off and finding new ways to stay active letting their passions lead them. You never can tell anything about a person by just looking at them and you never know the hidden talents people have. Orange Thad mentiones that he wanted people to put money in his cup.So my question is What does money mean to you?? What are you passionate enough about that you would be willing to do for a little bit of nothing or for FREE????
